Artifax guitars are hand crafted hollow bodies with a top and back constructed from vintage woods.

Each Artifax is unique. The core frame of the guitar body is made from basswood or poplar and shaped into classic guitar styles. Vintage woods are then joined together to create designs that complement the selected body style.  Before we start to build each guitar, we graphically design the top in the computer to create the best possible layout from the vintage panels. The end result is an extremely light, resonant one-of-a-kind guitar. These are not relics, they are made from vintage wood panels. Most panels are older than the oldest solid body guitars ever made.

WWGC Speed Necks are made from Flame Maple with a soft V profile, compound radius and a speedy Tru-Oil finish. This neck sits in your hand like it was made for you, which it is.

Each guitar is tested, played, and signed by Terry Martin and Ken Melhus to assure a great playing instrument. You will also receive a Birth Certificate with the date of final creation. All Made in the USA.
